If you use this weekly guide  - you'll cover all of the Bible in just 300 days.   This is sort of a "Cliff Notes" version of the reading plan that Pastor John uses.  But it's more than just learning stuff.  This helps you to communicate with God.  You'll hear Him, and He will hear you..

PRAYER: Lord, thank YOU for speaking to my heart and changing my life.

Luke 7:23 (GW) 23  Whoever doesn't lose his faith in me is indeed blessed.”

PRAYER: Lord, I am not offended, I am humbled and I gladly receive YOU as my boss and my forgiver.

Luke 7:28 (GW) 28  I can guarantee that of all the people ever born, no one is greater than John. Yet, the least important person in the kingdom of God is greater than John.

PRAYER: Lord, I will choose to befriend those whom society has rejected. I will be as gracious to them as YOU have been with me.

Colossians 1:23 (GW) 23  This is on the condition that you continue in faith without being moved from the solid foundation of the hope that the Good News contains. You've heard this Good News of which I, Paul, became a servant. It has been spread throughout all creation under heaven.

NOTE: Is your faith an enduring faith or a faith of convenience?  Real faith has a solid and ever-present foundation.

PRAYER: Lord, I hope to be found faithful in good time and bad.

Colossians 1:27 (GW) 27  God wanted his people throughout the world to know the glorious riches of this mystery—which is Christ living in you, giving you the hope of glory.

PRAYER: Help me to widen my fishing nets and reach more and more people for YOU.  Expand the territory I witness in now. Empower me to be a bold but caring witness for YOU.  And help me to be person of integrity and an inspiration to the “lost” I’m sharing my faith with.

THOT: The Good News is not always welcomed, but to those who do receive it – it is life, empowering, hope instilling, and contagious.

PRAYER: I may not always be happy, but I’ll keep “planting”.  I will not quit.

1 Chronicles 5:25 (GW) 25  But Gad, Reuben, and half of the tribe of Manasseh were unfaithful to the God of their ancestors. They chased after the gods of the people of the land as if they were prostitutes. God had destroyed these people as the Israelites arrived.

1 Chronicles 6:49 (GW) 49  Aaron and his descendants offered sacrifices on the altar for burnt offerings and on the altar for incense. They did all the work in the most holy place and removed Israel's sins to make Israel acceptable to God. They did exactly what God's servant Moses had commanded.

PRAYER: The church is stained, Lord.  Forgive us and clean up our sins.  We have sought idols of success and prominence, even money and power, while quoting YOUR holy Word but not really living it fully.

THOT: Believers in name only are not gracious nor merciful.  They are not generous, enduring, nor truly joyful.  The real believer holds dear to God’s Word and bears the fruit of it in good times and bad.

PRAYER: And I will be encouraging to others.

Colossians 2:20 (GW) 20  If you have died with Christ to the world's way of doing things, why do you let others tell you how to live? It's as though you were still under the world's influence.
