Titus 3:9-10 (GW) 9  Avoid foolish controversies, arguments about genealogies, quarrels, and fights about Moses' Teachings. This is useless and worthless. 10  Have nothing to do with people who continue to teach false doctrine after you have warned them once or twice.

So he told {a servant} to bring the official daily records, and they were read to the king. 2  The records showed how Mordecai had informed him that Bigthan and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs who guarded the entrance, had plotted a rebellion against King Xerxes. … 6  So Haman came in. The king then asked him, “What should be done for the man whom the king wishes to reward?” Haman thought to himself, “Whom would the king wish to reward more than me?”

NOTE: How many times has God orchestrated things to our advantage without us ever knowing it.  We must learn to “go with it”.

PRAYER: Lord, I trust YOU to keep me on the path and to direct me on.

THOT: We really do need God’s guidance on when to answer and when to be silent, when to go and when to stay.  Be grateful for God’s Word.

PRAYER: May YOU see YOUR love, generosity, and faithfulness in me as well.

Proverbs 17:9 (GW) 9  Whoever forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever keeps bringing up the issue separates the closest of friends.

PRAYER: Help my brothers and sisters to let go of the offence and to find peace and love.

PRAYER: Tempting but I won’t do that.

Philemon 1:17 (GW) 17  If you think of me as your partner, welcome him as you would welcome me.

PRAYER: I will try to be open (and supportive) to different vessels YOU might use for YOUR kingdom

PRAYER: I do like joy!!!!

Proverbs 17:27-28 (GW) 27  Whoever has knowledge controls his words, and a person who has understanding is even-tempered. 28  Even a stubborn fool is thought to be wise if he keeps silent. He is considered intelligent if he keeps his lips sealed.

PRAYER: Help me to keep control of my tongue even though my mind has so much to share.

Esther 9:22 (GW) 22  They were to observe them just like the days when the Jews freed themselves from their enemies. In that month their grief turned to joy and their mourning into a holiday. He declared that these days are to be days for feasting and celebrating and for sending gifts of food to one another, especially gifts to the poor.

PRAYER: I know my grief will be turned to joy, and my mourning into celebration with YOU in in control.

Esther 10:3 (GW) 3  Mordecai the Jew was ranked second only to King Xerxes. He was greatly respected by, and popular with, all of the other Jews, since he provided for the good of his people and spoke for the welfare of his fellow Jews.

NOTE: this is like a Joseph junior story.  Hard times, patience, turn around, God get the glory, and people get blessed.

PRAYER: Lord, I’ve just got to trust that YOU can use me even in those down moments.  I’ll hang on, I won’t quit.

THOT: believers mourn and suffer but not without trusting God to turn things around or at least reward them for their endurance.
